Panaji, October 2025 –With Diwali festivities around the corner and travel demand surging across western and southern India, pure play regional airline FLY91 has announced a special set of additional flights on key routes to facilitate smooth festive travel for passengers keen on returning home for the celebrations.

The airline has introduced extra flights on multiple routes during the festive period on October 17 between Goa–Bengaluru–Goa and Sindhudurg–Bengaluru–Sindhudurg; on October 18 and 19 covering Goa–Bengaluru–Goa, Goa–Hyderabad–Goa and Sindhudurg–Hyderabad–Sindhudurg; and on October 21 for the Goa–Pune–Goa sector. Tickets for these additional services are now available for booking on FLY91’s website.

Manoj Chacko, managing director and chief executive officer, FLY91, said, “Diwali is a time when families come together and travel demand naturally peaks as people return to their hometowns to celebrate. We’ve added these additional flights to make festive travel more convenient and accessible for our customers. Our goal remains to provide dependable, comfortable and affordable connectivity across regional India, especially during such important occasions.”

FLY91 also said that for every ticket booked via the official FLY91 website between October 15-31, the airline will contribute Rs. 100 to a child-centric charity in order to spread festive cheer among the underprivileged.

Diwali, celebrated with fervour across India, witnesses a significant spike in domestic travel as people reunite with family and friends. FLY91’s move to add capacity during the festive window underlines the airline’s agility in meeting passenger needs during high-demand periods. The regional airline had previously announced additional flights on its Pune-Sindhudurg-Pune route ahead of the recent Ganesh Chaturthi festivities.

Headquartered in Goa, FLY91 continues to expand its regional footprint across tier 2 and tier 3 cities. The airline currently connects eight domestic destinations, linking four in Maharashtra alone — Sindhudurg, Jalgaon, Solapur and Pune — as well as Agatti in the Lakshwadeep islands, as part of its broader mission to enhance last-mile connectivity and support regional growth.
