FLY91 Facilitates Enhanced Domestic Connectivity for the IFFI Delegates, Film Buffs

~ FLY91's strong regional network in tier two and tier three Indian towns makes IFFI, South Asia's most prestigious film festival, more accessible to film buffs and delegates.

Panaji, November 2025 -- Goa-based pure play regional airline, FLY91, is supporting domestic travel for the upcoming 56th edition of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI), South Asia’s largest film festival, which is presently underway in Panaji, Goa, enabling thousands of delegates, officials and film personalities from various tier two and tier three regions of India to access the popular nine-day festival.

The partnership brings together two Goa-based initiatives with a shared vision: to connect people and experiences. Through this association, FLY91 facilitates domestic connectivity for delegates and filmmakers, as well as potential audiences travelling to the event from smaller towns across India, helping make IFFI more inclusive and reachable than ever before, with the airline's focus on tier two and tier three destinations.

At the IFFI venue, the regional airline is also running a contest at the FLY91 kiosk located at Inox Panaji, where festival delegates can click pictures at the kiosk and tag the Instagram handle of the airline and stand a chance to win airline tickets.

Commenting on the partnership, Manoj Chacko, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of FLY91, said: “As a Goa-headquartered airline, we are proud to partner with IFFI, which is not only Goa’s most celebrated cultural event but also one of India’s most prestigious festivals. Both IFFI and FLY91 share a commitment to connect India; IFFI through the language of cinema and FLY91 through the power of regional air connectivity. This partnership reinforces our mission to make travel between India’s tier two and tier three towns and Goa easier, faster and more sustainable.”

Organised annually in collaboration with the Union Ministry for Information and Broadcasting and the Goa government’s Entertainment Society of Goa, IFFI attracts visitors from across the country and the world, and domestic travel supported by regional air services will aid in making the festival more accessible and open up the festival to film buffs from newer destinations. The airline’s growing network, which currently includes destinations like Goa, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Sindhudurg, Solapur, Jalgaon and Agatti in the Lakshadweep Isles, makes the Goa-based festival more accessible to audiences and participants from newer regions.

In its first year of operations, FLY91 has flown over 1.7 lakh passengers on more than 3,500 flights, operating a fleet of ATR 72-600 aircraft from its base at Manohar International Airport, Mopa. The airline plans to expand its network to connect over 50 Indian destinations within five years.
