National Association for the Blind Students Celebrate Children’s Day with FLY91 in Goa
Panaji, November 2025 – Students of the National Association for the Blind (NAB) in Goa marked Children’s Day with an afternoon of music, games and celebration hosted by pure play regional airline FLY91, which also handed over the proceeds from its Diwali festive campaign to the pan-India organisation supporting the visually disabled.
Initiated by the Goa-headquartered airline, the event which was held at the NAB premises, brought together visually impaired children, their teachers, staff members and the NAB Executive Committee, along with the FLY91 leadership team.
As part of its Diwali initiative, FLY91 had pledged ₹100 from every flight booking made on its official website, fly91.in, between October 15 and 31, 2025, towards a children-focused cause. The entire proceeds collected during the festive campaign were handed over to the NAB Executive Committee during the Children's Day event, to be used towards educational and welfare initiatives for the differently-abled individuals.
“This Diwali, we wanted to give passengers an opportunity to be part of something meaningful while travelling on FLY91. The response was heartening and we felt Children’s Day was the right occasion to share that joy back with children," said FLY91 Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Manoj Chacko.
The engagement included performances planned and enacted by NAB students, informal interactions and a high-tea organised by FLY91 featuring in-flight favourites.
The Children's Day event reflected FLY91’s growing commitment to small, community-led initiatives that go beyond air connectivity.
